Vision Statement
To help couples thrive in their marriage by providing empowering educational tools to nourish and cherish each other in a healthy marriage relationship. This ministry will not only play a pivotal role in building successful marriages, but it will also impact children, families, the church, the community and ultimately, the world.
Mission
To learn and develop marriage enrichment and communication skills; understanding what the Bible says about marriage; participate in bi-weekly program meetings and social events; attend quarterly workshops/seminars and coaching sessions; annual honeymoon retreat.
Target Audience
Premarital couples (dating with intention of marriage); married couples (relationship enrichment); couples in crisis (communication barriers, trust/betrayal, separated, etc.). Also, couples living together with children (thinking out of the box to address an untapped population).
Meeting Times
1st Thursday of every month at 7 pm in the Chapel
3rd Saturday of every month for an outing at different locations
Requirements for Marriage Ministry Volunteers
- Must be an active member of The Potter’s House
- Meet all necessary requirements
